I was in Alberta Canada and I was working along side a large earth moving contractor and they had at least a dozen 657’s on this particular job…one day eight or nine of them thought it was a good idea to hook up and push/pull through this cut and they got three or four of them loaded in about 15-20 seconds and somehow one of them got pulled apart in two pieces and there you had quite a mess sitting in the middle of the cut!…tore the gooseneck right off the bowl!..well after a good tongue lashing, they were back on their way push pulling across the cut again but they were only allowed to hook up three at a time!…lol!!!…the company I was with had seven or eight 627’s and we hooked two or three all the time but never more than that!..my foreman was quite an old hand and he said if those guys keep hooking more than three scrapers together, they’re gonna have half a scraper in a hurry…and they did!..lol!!!

My career in mining was cleaning up environmental messes like these two brothers created. I'm guessing they didn't put any money aside for reclamation, which would be millions of dollarrs, paid by somebody else. No wonder capitalism has a bad reputation.
